GP Stockholm
I spent last weekend at GP Stockholm in Sweden. The venue was perfect; a convention centre attached to a very nice hotel. In the lobby of the hotel there was a huge fish pond, with a restaurant on one side and the bar on the other side. The restaurant was very good, but their fruit salad consisted mostly of non-peeled apples and pears. Not good.
The event itself was the biggest GP in Scandinavia ever, with over 700 players (including 60 Finns). Despite the unexpectedly high turnout, the tournament was very smooth and we finished quite early on both days. I didn't feel particularly tired during the event, and my feet stayed happy.
Some funny things happened, including this: Pants Guy, the judge candidate.
More stories later. Maybe.
